KP Oli: Government itself is encouraging terrorist activities
KATHMANDU, Sep 11: Former Prime Minister and the Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, has accused the government of encouraging terrorist activities in the country.
Chairman Oli has said the government is encouraging terrorist activities by not taking those dangerous situations under control, such as the Khukuri attack against Congress leader Mahendra Yadav and the threat against Taplejung's DSP to kill his family.
He also questioned why the government hasn't arrested those who threatened to kill DSP Rajan Rai and his family.
Speaking at the party's central office in Chyasal against acid attacks, Chairman Oli said that the khukuri attack against the Congress leader took place because the government did not arrest the person who threatened to use a khukuri a week before.
He criticised the government for not keeping control of such situations in time and accused them of making fun of the situation by not arresting those who were threatening to kill and murder.
Chairman Oli urged the government to take swift action against those committing heinous crimes in the country and create strict laws against acid attacks.
