Hearing on case against Sandeep Lamichhane begins

KATHMANDU, Sep 7: The hearing on the rape case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has begun at the bench of Judge Shakuntala Karki of the Kathmandu District Court.

Earlier, the case's final hearing was said to be on the 27th of August, but it could not be heard. In the case scheduled for hearing on August 27 on the bench of Judge Prakash Prasad Pandit, the hearing was scheduled for September 7 after it could not be heard then. Following that, Lamichhane went to Pakistan to play in the Asia Cup on August 28.
