Case filed in Supreme Court against Prachanda, Baburam

KATHMANDU, June 11: A case has been filed in the Supreme Court against the Prime Minister and the Chairman of CPN Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Nepal Socialist Party's Leader Baburam Bhattarai and others.

The case was filed against Prime Minister Prachanda, Ex-Prime Minister Bhattarai, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, National Human Rights Commission by Ex-soldier and Ex-Chairman of People's Liberation Army Lenin Bista, the founding coordinator of the Ex-People's Liberation Army Krishna Prasad Dangal and others.

They filed a writ claiming that they were used as child soldiers during the armed revolution by the former CPN Maoists and demanded an interim order to be identified as child soldiers and demanded justice and compensation for the injustice done to them.
