Posting of 13 DIGs: Khapung to authority, Thakuri to airport

KATHMANDU, April 26: The Ministry of Home Affairs has posted 13 promoted Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of the Police. They were appointed as per the Home Minister-level decision on Wednesday. According to the Human Resource Development Department of the Police Headquarters, DIG Kuber Kadayat has been posted to the Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police, Kedar Dhakal to the Directorate of Economic Administration and Management, Bishnu Kumar KC to the Directorate of Investigation Planning and Development, Bharat Bahadur Bohora to Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, Rabindra KC to the National Police Training Institute, while Rajeshnath Bastola has been posted to the Koshi Province Police Office.

Similarly, DIGs Chandra Kuber Khapung has been posted to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Janak Bhattarai to the Madhesh Province Police Office, Lalmani Acharya to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office Ranipokhari, Surendra Mainali to the Crime Investigation Directorate, Arjun Chand Thakuri to the Tribhuvan International Airport, Yagyabinod Pokharel to the Central Bureau of Investigation and Bikasraj Khanal has been posted to the Operational Directorate according to the police headquarters.
