Three farmers of Sunsari honoured

INARUWA, March 4: Three farmers of Sunsari district have been honoured.

They were honoured for being self-reliant in agriculture at an exhibition on agriculture organised here by the local Ekata Farmer Agriculture Cooperative.

They increased their agricultural produce through the use of modern agriculture equipment, said the Cooperative's Chairperson Dr Sada Nanda Sah.

The honoured farmers are Hari Prasad Mehata, Parbati Mehata and Daud Ansari. Hari Prasad has grown corn in Inaruwa and Parbati has done banana farming.

Similarly, Ansari has grown tomatoes in Bhokraha.
