Relief items distributed to 2060 flood victims in Saptari
Saptari -Around 2,060 flood victims have received relief materials in Rajbiraj Municipality-9 in Saptari.
A local organisation Aasaman Nepal handed out relief materials to around 560 flood victims in collaboration with an organisation World Wield Consultant and People In Lead amid a programme in the district on Wednesday. The relief items include rice, pulse, packets of salt, cooking oil, sugar, soap, bucket, mosquito nets and sanitary pad.
Likewise, another organisation Dear Walk Foundation, Kathmandu distributed Rs 4500 in relief assistance to each of 90 families victimised by recent flooding in the municipality.
Non-Resident Nepali Association, Saptari distributed relief materials to around 1500 flood victims.
Likewise, Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry has collected more than Rs 850,000 for flood and landslide victims across the country. The amount has been deposited into flood victim relief fund set up by the CCI, Pokhara.
