Tamang arrested

Kathmandu–Metropolitan Crime Division has arrested Bishnu Tamang 'Kale' on the charge of his involvement in crime.

Police had to open fire to nab Tamang at Tokha this morning, after he aimed pistol and tried to shoot at police personnel, said Chief of Division, Sahakul Thapa.

He said, "Police had opened fire for self-defense." Tamang has sustained injuries in right leg and receiving treatment at Bir Hospital, according to the Division.

Tamang of Sindhupalchowk has already served six years imprisonment on different criminal charges. ---
