President Bhandari urges for investment in Nepal

Beijing–President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who is currently on the State Visit to China, has urged the Chinese investors to invest in Nepal. During a meeting with the Chairman of Economic Joint Committee under the Chinese Commercial Stock Enterprises and the senior officials of China-Nepal Economic and Trade Forum today.

On the occasion, President Bhandari thanked the Chinese officials for organizing the meeting of China-Nepal Economic and Trade Forum and reminded that Nepal had a stable government and created a favourable atmosphere for investment. Investment was imperative for Nepal's development, she underscored.

It is said the meeting would discuss trade, bilateral assistance and investment. The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chief Minister of State-3, Dormani Poudel, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Nepali Ambassador to China and high level officials from Nepal government and representatives from private sectors. ----
