Maha Yagya collects over Rs 7.5 million for reconstruction of Temple in Banepa

Banepa–More than Rs 7.5 million has been collected from the 'Swarnim Shreemad Bhagawat Bhakti Satsang Mahayagya-2075', a religious programme, organised at Chattre Pati Kharka at Bethanchowk Rural Municipality ward no 4 in Kavrepalanchowk district. 


The Maha Yagya was organized by the Tileshower Temple Conservation Committee to collect funds for reconstruction of the Tileshwor Temple. 


The religious ceremony concluded was held from February 25 to March 5. Arun Mahato, one of the members of the Maha Yagya Organizing Committee shared, "We have collected Rs 7.5 million in fund from the Maha Yagya. We are still collecting the fund as devotees and Good Samaritans continue to pledge cash and in-kind support for this cause." 
The Organizing Committee is still collecting the details of the donations and donors. According to Mahato, they are hopeful to save Rs 5.5 million to Rs 6 million from the collection after taking care of all expenses of organizing the Maha Yagya. 


A meeting of the organizing committee will be held on coming Saturday to undertake the reconstruction of the Temple. 
Anuradha Shastri Ji and Uddhav Sharma, the religious leaders, gave sermons from the Hindu's holy scripture- The Bhagawat Gita.
