CG Hospitality and Marriott International Launch Series by Marriott™ in India, Welcoming The Fern into Global Ecosystem

Kathmandu, May 22 : In a major stride toward redefining midscale and upscale hospitality, CG Hospitality Global—the hospitality arm of CG Corp Global—has announced a landmark partnership with Marriott International through the launch of Series by Marriott™, a newly introduced collection brand. This collaboration marks the global debut of the brand, with India’s iconic eco-sensitive hotel group, The Fern, leading the charge.

The Fern’s entire portfolio—including The Fern, The Fern Residency, and The Fern Habitat—will now be integrated into Marriott’s world-class distribution and digital platforms, including the globally renowned Marriott Bonvoy™ loyalty program with over 237 million members. This strategic alignment brings together CG Hospitality’s strong regional presence and Marriott’s international scale, promising a powerful synergy for travelers across the globe.

With over 120 operational hotels in 90 cities and 40 more in the pipeline under Concept Hospitality Private Limited (CHPL), the deal is set to add up to 84 Fern-branded hotels and nearly 6,000 rooms to Marriott’s growing footprint in India. This is one of the largest multi-unit hospitality transactions in the region and includes a significant equity investment by Marriott in CHPL, as well as a long-term exclusive co-branding arrangement.
