Landownership certificate to landless squatters at any cost

Nuwakot– Mayor of Bidur municipality, Sanju Pandit, has expressed commitment to providing landownership certificate to landless squatters by establishing a robust coordination with federal government to resolve the problems. 

Mayor Pandit said so while inaugurating the second district convention of the District Land Rights Forum at Bidur today. 
Founding Chair of the National Land Rights Forum, Som Prasad Bhandari, blamed that the government has not put the problems of landless squatters in top priority in order to resolve it. 

The second convention of the Forum has elected a 13-member working committee under the chair of Binda Nepal. Balbhadra Nepal, Ram Chandra Gajurel, Nabaraj Bhujel and Pabina Bhatta have been elected to the post of Vice-Chair, Secretary, Joint-Secretary and Treasurer respectively. 

Similarly, Kanchhi Nepali, Madan Suchikar, Sanu Kanchha Shrestha, Kul Bahadur Shrestha, Rana Bahadur Tamang, Ranju Lamichhane and Kalpana Neupane are the members.
