Dhakal appointed member-secretary of PADT

Kathmandu - Dr Pradip Dhakal has been appointed member-secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT). Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jitendra Narayan Dev on Wednesday took a decision to this effect, said the ministry's spokesperson Ghana Shyam Upadhyay.

Dr Dhakal's tenure will be for four years. He holds a PhD degree in peace campaign for Hindu religion from Banaras Hindu University of India. Dhakal is also General Secretary of the Asia-Pacific Peace Research Association.
