Over 8,500 people receive free check up services

Sankuwasabha–As many as 8,500 people received services at free eye and ear check-up camp held at Khandbari municipality of Sankhuwasabha district. 

Some 7,000 students from 38 schools of municipality area and over 1,500 local people received free check-up services at the camp jointly organised by Khandbari municipality, Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh and Tejratna Eye and Ear Treatment Centre. 

Kshitiz Bara,, in-charge of Tejratna Eye and Ear Treatment Centre, shared that 95 eye patients were diagnosed with cataract while other 300 students need to have their eyes re-examined. "The patients were referred to Khandbari Hospital for further treatment", he said. 

Likewise, 40 students and 60 locals were found with ear drum holes. ---
