Media museum to be established

Ghorahi– The Federation of Nepali Journalists is to establish a media museum to be named after late journalist Krishnasen Icchuk. 


The museum will chronicle the history of Nepali journalism and will be established in the home town of the late journalist. The FNJ Province no. 5 will be working to set up the museum with support from the provincial government. 


Speaking at an interaction on ‘Role of Media in Federal Structure’ at Juluke in Sitganga municipality-8, Arghakhanchi on Saturday, Chief Minister Shanker Pokharel pledged to provide all necessary support in establishing the museum. 


The FNJ has already decided to begin the require process for it following a field study, said FNJ President Govinda Acharya. The museum will also include a memorial park, a statue and a media building comprising a training centre, hostel and reference materials for journalists.
