Suspension bridge in Arjundhara

Bhadrapur– A suspension bridge is being constructed at the cost of Rs. 11 million to connect Madanpur to ward no. 5 and 7 of Arjundhara municipality. 


Federal parliamentarian Pabitra Niroula (Kharel) laid the foundation stone amidst a function on Saturday. The bridge is being constructed over the Biring river with funds from the federal government. 


The 160 meter long and four feet wide bridge is expected to be completed within coming mid-July, according to contractor Yubaraj Dangi. 


People living in Khudunabari, Madanpur and Arjundhara had been facing a problem during the monsoon and that is expected to be addressed with the new bridge, Mayor of Arjundhara Hari Rana said
