Students cut tiffin expenses to support children’s home

Damak– Students of Oxford Boarding School in Damak-3 have saved from their daily tiffin expenses to help the Namuna Children’s home in Urlabari of Morang. 


The students bought food items including pulse, sugar, peas, puffed rice, soap, paste and medicines from their monthly savings. A total of 120 students from Grade 7 to 10 collected Rs. 30 per month for the noble cause, according to the school principal Dilli Chapagain. 


On the occasion, a dental camp was also organized for the children taking shelter in the home. Likewise, the students are also preparing to provide support to the Ratna Old Age home in Damak-4. 
Goods worth Rs. 58,000 will be distributed to the two homes.
