One killed, various parts inundated in Rupandehi

One person has lost his life when a mud-house collapsed at Kotaimai rural municipality-1, Sipuwa. 

The house buckled due to incessant rainfall and lack of proper outlet in the house premises. 

According to police, a 15-year old Roshan Harijan was killed in the incident. 

Similarly, Harijan's father and mother were also injured and are undergoing treatment in Bhairahawa based hospital. 

Likewise, some parts including Marchawar, Lumbini,Dhakdhai, Bhairahawa, Tilottama of Rupandehi district have remained inundated by the rainfall. 

According to DSP of the district police office, Bel Bahadur Pandey, four houses near Durga Temple of Bhujauli village are inundated and police have alerted the locals to remain alerted due to possible threat of inundation and floods.
