Russia Condemns Japan's Cooperation with Ukraine on Drone Development

Kathmandu. Accusing Japan of aiding in the killing of Russian citizens through cooperation with Ukrainian drone developers, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko on Saturday condemned Japan's move.

In an interview with Russian news agency TASS, Rudenko stated that Ukraine is conducting systematic terrorist activities against civilian targets in Russian territory, and Japan's cooperation with Kyiv is considered an openly hostile act.

"Ukrainian drones are killing Russian citizens, and Tokyo is helping them do so," he said.

Rudenko claimed that Japan's increasing involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict is further weakening Russia-Japan relations, which are already strained. He also warned that Japan's policy towards Ukraine could have long-term consequences for relations between the two countries.
