Youth Injured in Mobile Phone Explosion in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal. A youth in Pandhurna district of Madhya Pradesh, India, was seriously injured when the mobile phone in his pant pocket suddenly exploded. Due to the fire in the pants after the explosion, various parts of the body including the private parts were burnt. According to Indian media, the youth was riding a motorcycle when the incident occurred.

The mobile phone suddenly exploded while kept in the pant pocket. Due to the intensity of the mobile explosion, the pants caught fire. Then the motorcycle became uncontrollable, fell on the road, and the youth was dragged about 12 meters. Local residents immediately rescued him and took him to the hospital.

According to doctors, his leg bone is broken due to the motorcycle accident. Due to the fire from the mobile explosion, there are serious burns on his private parts and other parts of the body. The victim is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Preliminary investigation suggests that a problem with the mobile battery or a technical fault could be the potential cause of the explosion. However, officials said that a technical examination of the mobile is underway to ascertain the actual cause of the incident.
