Birgunj Customs Office Collects NPR 243.82 Billion in Revenue

Kathmandu. Birgunj Customs Office has collected NPR 243.82 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year 2082/83. Information Officer Udaysingh Bisht informed that the office collected 89.19 percent of the annual target in the last fiscal year.

The office had set a target to collect NPR 273.37 billion in revenue throughout the last fiscal year.

The Customs Department had set a target to collect NPR 588.25 billion in revenue from all customs offices across the country in the last fiscal year. The contribution of Birgunj office to the department's total annual target was 41.45 percent.

The office collected NPR 18.44 billion in July, NPR 20.74 billion in August, NPR 19.09 billion in September, NPR 17.33 billion in October, NPR 20.80 billion in November. Similarly, it collected NPR 20.20 billion in December, NPR 18.92 billion in January, NPR 19.34 billion in February, NPR 22.82 billion in March, NPR 21.74 billion in April, NPR 22.32 billion in May, and NPR 22.04 billion in June.
