Kalimati Market Sets Wholesale Prices for Agricultural Produce

Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has determined the maximum wholesale prices for agricultural produce for today. According to the committee, the wholesale prices per kilogram are: Tomato Large (Nepali) Rs 45, Tomato Small (Local) Rs 12, Tomato Small (Tunnel) Rs 20, Potato Red (Long) Rs 50, Potato Red (Round) Rs 50, Potato Red (Mude) Rs 48, Potato Red (Indian) Rs 30, White Potato Rs 30, Onion Dry (Indian) Rs 55.

Similarly, Carrot (Local) Rs 120 per kg, Carrot (Terai) Rs 90 per kg, Cabbage (Local) Rs 40 per kg, Cauliflower Local Rs 60 per kg, Red Radish Rs 35 per kg, White Radish (Hybrid) Rs 20 per kg, Eggplant Long Rs 35 per kg, and Eggplant Round Rs 70 per kg have been set.

According to the committee, the prices per kilogram are: Yardlong Bean Rs 60, Pea Bean Rs 60, French Bean (Local) Rs 90, French Bean (Hybrid) Rs 70, French Bean (Rajma) Rs 120, Striped Bean Rs 70, Broad Bean Pod Rs 140, Bitter Gourd Rs 40, Bottle Gourd Rs 40, Pointed Gourd (Local) Rs 50, Pointed Gourd (Terai) Rs 50, Snake Gourd Rs 30, Ridge Gourd Rs 50, Zucchini Rs 70, Pumpkin Ripe Rs 60, Pumpkin Green (Long) Rs 90, Pumpkin Green (Round) Rs 40, Okra Rs 50, Sweet Potato Rs 120, and Taro Rs 100, Chayote Rs 50.

Mustard Greens Rs 80 per kg, Spinach Rs 80 per kg, Watercress Rs 60 per kg, Turnip Greens Rs 50 per kg, Green Onion Rs 80 per kg, Mushroom (Button) Rs 260 per kg, Mushroom (Dalle) Rs 420 per kg, King Mushroom Rs 300 per kg, and Shiitake Mushroom Rs 1,000 per kg have been determined.
