MP Ganesh Singh Thaguna Raises Concern Over Obstruction Attempts and Health Sector Issues in Parliament

Kathmandu. The issue of obstruction attempts made by parking suspicious vehicles in the Parliament meeting has been raised. Speaking in Tuesday's meeting, UML MP Ganesh Singh Thaguna protested, stating that acts of mental terror are being spread in front of the media sector and the residences and offices of political leaders. He said that although this incident may seem small symbolically, its signal is reminiscent of the beginning of state terror decided by the Panchayat-era Mandale system. He stated that the government should take strict action against the individuals involved in the act. MP Thaguna said, 'The health sector is in disarray. While the access of citizens to health services needs to be increased, the statement made by the current government's Finance Minister that a liability of one lakh cannot be paid for a premium of 35 hundred in health services clearly shows that this government is not responsible towards the treatment of poor citizens. Yesterday, the act of spreading mental terror by parking vehicles in front of the media sector and political leaders' homes. Although this incident may seem small symbolically, its signal reminds us of the state terror spread by the Panchayat-era Mandale system. Therefore, the government must take strict action against the individuals involved in the act according to the law.'
