Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chief Whip Khushbu Oli Warns Against Public Statements on Sub Judice Matters

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chief Whip Khushbu Oli has stated that making public statements without adequate study and facts on matters sub judice in court is irresponsible. 

Expressing her views in the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee held on Tuesday, Chief Whip Oli mentioned that there is a big difference between the facts obtained and the details found during personal study. 

Her argument is that it is not just to discuss or express opinions based on incomplete and factless documents by individuals in responsible positions. Emphasizing the need to use discretion on such sensitive issues, she urged caution against 'bites' appearing in the media that could create confusion among the general public. 

She said, 'When the case is sub judice in court, it is not appropriate for responsible individuals like us to express opinions on matters undergoing media trials without serious study.' 

Chief Whip Oli also drew the attention of the Chairman to immediately halt the current process regarding sub judice cases. She stated that it would be appropriate to study official documents and make further statements on the matter only after the court's verdict, rather than discussing based solely on complaints.
