Youth Arrested for Raping Minor in Dhangadhi Hotel

Dhangadhi. A youth has been arrested on charges of forcibly raping a minor girl at a hotel in Attariya, Kailali. The police have stated that a youth from Baitadi has been arrested on the accusation of forcibly raping a 14-year-old girl. The arrested individual has been identified as Rajesh Dhami, 20, residing in Sigas Rural Municipality-1, Baitadi, informed DSP Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kailali. DSP Timilsina stated that Dhami was arrested after a complaint was filed alleging that he had called the minor girl from her home on June 24, brought her to Attariya, kept her in a hotel, and forcibly raped her. Dhami was arrested on Monday from Campus Chowk in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-8. The District Police Office, Kailali has stated that further investigation into the incident is underway while he is in custody.
