House of Representatives Meeting Today: Reports and Bills on Agenda

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is being held today. The agenda for the meeting, which will be held at 11 am, includes presenting various reports and introducing bills.

On behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will present the annual reports of the Judicial Council and the Judicial Service Commission for the fiscal year 2081/082. Along with this, the 66th annual report of the Public Service Commission (Fiscal Year 2081/082) is also on the agenda to be presented in the meeting.

Similarly, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will propose to seek permission to present the 'Bill to Amend and Repeal Some Nepal Laws Related to Finance, 2083'. If permission is granted, he will present the same bill in the meeting.

In the meeting, Law Minister Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Shah, will present a proposal to send the 'Bill to Revive the Previous Provisions of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042, 2083' and the 'National Service Corps Bill, 2083' to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.

Similarly, Youth, Labour and Employment Minister Ramji Yadav will present a proposal for discussion in the House and ratification of Protocol No. 29 to the International Labour Organization's Forced Labour Convention, 1930, 2014. Minister Yadav also has on the agenda to present a proposal for general discussion and ratification of the International Labour Organization's Labour Inspection Convention, 1947 (No. 81).
