Khajura Rural Municipality Constructs Alternative Road

Banke. Khajura Rural Municipality has constructed a road connecting Bigaun via Dhaulagiri, as an alternative route to the Nepalgunj-Gulariya Hulaki road.

According to the rural municipality chairman Dambar Bahadur BK, the road connecting Bigaun via Adarsha Secondary School, located in Ward No. 3 of Khajura Rural Municipality, has been constructed as an alternative route to the main road within the Khajura market area.

Now, even if there is any obstruction in the Khajura market area or Pedari Nala area under the Hulaki road, it will be possible to travel smoothly between Nepalgunj and Gulariya by using the road connecting Bigaun via Adarsha Secondary School and Dhaulagiri village.

This road has been constructed as an alternative route to the main road in the Khajura market area after the construction of the bridge at a cost of Rs. 6 crore 10 lakh 90 thousand 286 from the provincial government was completed.

The rural municipality is working with the goal of connecting the villages of all eight wards of Khajura Rural Municipality with a blacktopped road network, expanding blacktopped roads in every settlement to create a 'dust-free village', and managing proper water drainage by constructing and upgrading drains and canals to make it a 'waterlogging-free village'.
