Protest Against Government Over Squatter Management

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balendra (Balen) Shah, protestors of squatters and unorganized residents have demonstrated against the government at Maitighar in Kathmandu. They have protested, stating that the government has not been able to manage squatters for 78 days and has made illegal arrests. 

The protestors also displayed placards such as 'Give Justice, Not Oppression', 'Stop Oppressing Activists, Or Else Be Ready for Consequences'. 

Although the government placed squatters from places like Thapali in Kathmandu in holding centers 78 days ago, it has not made permanent arrangements. Due to this, the victims are forced to suffer further pain.
