Former Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal Emphasizes Rule of Law and Citizen Cooperation

Kathmandu. Former Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the operators of the government themselves should understand how to run the rule of law. 

Recalling the Ganesh Nepali case, Aryal said on social media that the government continues to increase rivals while it should cooperate with citizens. 

'Let there be no mistake of plunging the country into a vicious cycle of conflict and misfortune again. In the rule of law, not only citizens but also the government must properly follow the laws and regulations,' Aryal said, 'The state should be run on the basis of truth, integrity, and humanity in cooperation with citizens of all ideologies, classes, and communities.'

Stating that the backbone of good governance is the rule of law, he said that in a country with the rule of law, ordinary citizens should not face hardship and those associated with the government should not be exempt from punishment. 

 'The symptoms are not good even now. The late Ganesh Nepali and his family must get justice,' Aryal wrote.
