One arrested with loaded pistol and bullets in Rautahat

Rautahat. Police have arrested one person with a loaded country-made pistol from Garuda, Rautahat. Sadre Alam, an estimated 42-year-old resident of Birtat, Garuda Municipality-9, was arrested during a check at a liquor store operated by Gautam Sahani at Jhanjhpul, Garuda Municipality-5. A loaded country-made pistol was recovered from Alam's waist when his body was searched after he was found in a suspicious condition. During the investigation, it was revealed that Alam had hidden more weapons and cash. He stated that he had hidden bullets and cash in the bushes behind the liquor store. Based on Alam's statement, further materials were recovered from the spot with him. Police recovered 4 live rounds of bullets used in a country-made pistol, 1 blank round bullet, 24,500 Indian Rupees in a black purse, 32,500 Nepali Rupees, and 2 pieces of Nitravet tablets from the bushes. Police have further investigated the incident.
