Jayabir Deuba Issued 7-Day Notice by Anti-Money Laundering Department

Kathmandu. The Department of Anti-Money Laundering has issued a 7-day notice to Jayabir Deuba, son of former Prime Minister and former Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The notice states that some clarification is needed during the investigation of money laundering, and he has been asked to appear before the department within 7 days.

The notice has also been pasted at Deuba's residence in Budhanilkantha.

The department had previously summoned Jayabir's father and mother, Arzu. The Deuba couple had informed the department that they would appear by the end of Shrawan.
