10 Fugitive Defendants Arrested in Rautahat

Rautahat. The District Court Rautahat, after convicting and imposing fines, has arrested 10 fugitive defendants who had been living in hiding for a long time.

Under a special campaign to arrest fugitive defendants, the District Police Office Rautahat and its subordinate units on Monday arrested 10 fugitive defendants in cases of check dishonor, assault, and loan disputes.

According to District Police Spokesperson DSP Basanta Gautam, those arrested include Om Nath Giri, Shivshankar Pandey, Rakesh Kumar Jaiswal, Shivshankar Pandey from Garuda Municipality Ward 5, and Panilal Sahani from Ward 3, and Shivshankar Pandey from Ward 5 in check dishonor cases.

Similarly, police stated that Sonilal Bhagat from Katahariya 7, Parshuram Yadav and Rajdev Yadav from Madhav Narayan 4, and Ram Ishwar Sahani from Gadhimai 9 were also arrested.

A notice issued by the District Police Office Rautahat states that all defendants will be presented to the District Court Rautahat on Tuesday for the collection of the 6,700 fine imposed by the court and for the execution of the verdict.
