Two Warehouses Catch Fire in Pepsicola, Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Two warehouses operating at Suryamukhi Chowk in Pepsicola, Kathmandu have caught fire. The fire broke out last night at Maa Traders and Taleju Bhawani Concern located in Kathmandu-32. The fire has been brought under control, SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range Kathmandu told Ratopati. 

Noodles and energy drinks were damaged by the fire at Maa Traders, operated by Dhirendra Ranjitkar, a resident of Sankhu, Ward No. 6 of Shankharapur Municipality. 

Beer kept in the warehouse of Taleju Bhawani Trade Concern, operated jointly by Ranjitkar, Umesh Kawang, Ratna Das Shrestha, and Gyan Ratna Manandhar, was destroyed due to the fire. 

Both warehouses were operated by renting land from Ram Shrestha. The fire was brought under control using three fire engines, informed SP Bhattarai.
