FIFA World Cup 2026 Group G Matches Tied at Halftime

Kathmandu. The first half of both matches in Group 'G' of the FIFA World Cup 2026 has ended. Belgium has taken a 1-0 lead against New Zealand, while the match between Egypt and Iran is tied at 1-1.

In the match being played at BC Place in Vancouver, Leandro Trossard scored in the 28th minute to give Belgium the lead. No further goals were scored in the first half, and Belgium remained ahead 1-0.

Meanwhile, at Seattle Stadium, Egypt took the lead in the fifth minute, but Iran's Ramin Rezaeian scored a spectacular equalizer. Rezaeian, with his third goal in the World Cup, became Iran's highest scorer in the tournament. After that, although both teams created more scoring opportunities, the score did not change in the first half.
