National Luminary Bhimsen Thapa Foundation to Honor Border Expert Buddhi Narayan Shrestha

Kathmandu. The National Luminary Bhimsen Thapa Foundation has decided to honor border expert Buddhi Narayan Shrestha with a prize this year.

The foundation has decided to honor border expert Shrestha with a cash prize of Rs 101,111 and a certificate of honor for his continuous advocacy on issues related to the country's borders and his significant contribution to the country and the people.

According to the foundation's chairman Prof. Dr. Parthiveshwor Prasad Timilsina, the award will be presented on the occasion of the 252nd birth anniversary of National Luminary Bhimsen Thapa on the upcoming Shrawan 9.

For about three decades, the foundation has been honoring an individual or organization that has contributed to history or various fields of national importance in memory of National Luminary Bhimsen Thapa.

Last year, the award was presented to Dr. Bhesh Bahadur Thapa for his significant contribution to Nepal's diplomatic and economic sectors.
