FIFA World Cup 2026 Group D Matches Underway

America and Turkey will face each other in the match to be held at Los Angeles Stadium. This match will be a mere formality for both teams, as America has already secured a place in the last 32, while Turkey's journey has ended in the group stage.

On the other hand, another match to be held in San Francisco will be very decisive. The clash between Australia and Paraguay will decide the knockout stage. A draw will be enough for Australia to reach the knockout stage. But Paraguay must win to secure second place. If the result is a draw, Paraguay will have a chance to reach the knockout stage as one of the best third-placed teams.

Paraguay will not have the support of the suspended Miguel Almiron in this match. He received a red card in the previous match against Turkey for speaking with an opposing player while covering his mouth. Coach Gustavo Alfaro has made three changes to the team.
