Lalitpur Metropolis to Use New Technology for Heritage Preservation and Waste Management

Kathmandu. Lalitpur Metropolis has put forward a policy to use new technology and vehicles for the preservation of historical and cultural heritage and improvement of the urban environment. The program to operate environmentally friendly 'e-shuttle' buses in heritage areas has been included in the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. 

Similarly, to make the city's waste management effective, the budget statement mentions the operation of 'LMC Garbage App' and the establishment of an 'MRF Plant'.

 Budget has been allocated for the upcoming year to install technologies including an incinerator plant for waste management.
