Four Arrested for Obscene Acts at Paropakar Ghat in Biratnagar

Biratnagar. Police have arrested four people on charges of obscene acts at Paropakar Ghat in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-1. They have been taken into custody for indecent behavior at a sacred public place where cremation is performed.

According to the District Police Office, Morang, information was received that some people had gathered at the ghat around 12:30 AM on Tuesday night, making noise, and two of them were naked. Based on that information, a police team immediately dispatched to the scene took them under control from the spot.

Those arrested include Surendra Mani Mandal from Morang, Kailash Dhungana from Sunsari, Manish Kafle from Bhojpur, and Chhabilal Ghimire from Morang.

According to the District Police Office, Morang's Information Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police Makendra Kumar Mishra, the arrested individuals are being held at the District Police Office for further investigation.
