Additional Secretary Dr. Sangita Kaushal Mishra Returns to Ministry After Acquittal

Kathmandu. Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene Dr. Sangita Kaushal Mishra has returned to the ministry. After being acquitted by the Special Court, Dr. Mishra reached the ministry today, Monday, and marked her attendance.

Dr. Samir Adhikari, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, confirmed that Mishra marked her attendance from today. The Special Court, in its verdict on Monday, acquitted former Health Additional Secretary Dr. Mishra and 8 others in the corruption case related to the purchase of a mammography machine.

Vivekkumar Lal, Bhuwanprasad Kafle, Deepak Adhikari, Yadavprasad Devkota, Shambhuprasad Dhakal, Sita Ghimire, and Tilakram Dhakal, along with Dr. Mishra, were acquitted.
