Rabi Lamichhane Assures Government Will Meet Public Expectations

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has said that the government will live up to the hopes and trust of the people. Inaugurating the party's first general convention in Bharatpur, Lamichhane said that there might be attempts to defeat and overthrow RSP, and that they are aware of such possibilities.

'I want to say standing in this historic place. I pledge to implement with honesty, every single letter of the agreement we have made with the Nepali people and history as witnesses,' said Chairman Lamichhane. He stated that this is not a personal matter, and that before the election, he had given the responsibility to Balen to score goals, and now he will score goals rapidly. He also said that even if the ball accidentally goes elsewhere, it is his responsibility to pass the ball to Balen's feet.

'There are many here who will sweeten mouths and gossip,' he said, advising even his own party leaders not to engage in factional politics.
