Rastriya Prajatantrik Party (RPP) Dissident Faction Holds Meeting

Kathmandu. A gathering of the dissatisfied faction of the Rastriya Prajatantrik Party (RPP) is scheduled to begin today. The collective gathering of central committee members who did not participate in the central committee is about to begin at Levis Garden in Sukedhara. The meeting will be conducted by General Secretary Kunti Shahi. It has been stated that those recently nominated as central members from Kamal Thapa's side will also participate in the gathering. Assistant General Secretary Prem Balayar stated that approximately 100 central members are expected to attend the gathering. It has been stated that the gathering has been organized to start encircling the current Chairman Rajendra Lingden as the general convention approaches. The dissident faction is preparing to not be bound by decisions made by a meeting that included unauthorized individuals other than central members and did not even have a quorum on June 19 and 20, and to reject all decisions except for the general convention.
