Banke Police Arrest Man for Alleged Rape of 15-Year-Old Girl

Banke. Police have arrested one person on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. The arrested person is Shiva Tharu, 30, residing in Chaudhariya village, ward no. 15, Kohalpur municipality, Banke. He was taken into police custody on Friday evening. After a complaint was filed that Shiva had forcibly raped the girl, a police team was dispatched from the Kohalpur Area Police Office. Police stated that he was arrested from the village itself based on the complaint. The Kohalpur Area Police Office is conducting necessary investigations into the arrested Tharu.
