Nepal Eye Hospital Operates Regularly on Sundays

Kathmandu. Nepal Eye Hospital located in Tripureshwor has stated that regular services are being operated on Sundays, which are holidays. This hospital, known as Nepal's first eye hospital, has been providing regular services from Sunday to Friday. The hospital starts registering patients at 8:30 AM every day and provides examination and treatment services by specialist doctors until 3:00 PM, informed Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Dharmaraj Gosain.

The hospital has been providing eye health services through modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipment, and experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, nursing, and technical manpower. The hospital currently has 16 ophthalmologists, 1 anesthesiologist, 7 optometrists, 3 fellows, and a total of 150 employees.

Approximately 700 to 900 patients receive services daily at the hospital, and complex treatments and surgeries related to cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatric eye diseases are regularly conducted.

Various treatment services such as outpatient services, specialist consultation services, cataract clinic, pediatric eye service, and orthoptics service are available at Nepal Eye Hospital. Similarly, emergency services and inpatient services are in operation 24 hours a day, ensuring continuous service for patients in emergency situations.

Surgical services including surgeries related to cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatric ophthalmology are regularly conducted.
