Sher Bahadur Deuba's NCID Card Viral Amidst Membership Update Controversy

Kathmandu. The NCID card, claiming Nepali Congress's former president Sher Bahadur Deuba has digitally updated active membership, has gone viral. Deuba's NCID card has gone viral on social media at a time when the Deuba group and Dr. Shekhar Koirala group were stating that they would not update active membership.

We inquired with Deuba's personal secretary Bhanu Deuba whether the card was real or fake. He informed that Deuba has not updated his active membership and a fake card has been made viral on social media to spread misinformation. 'He (Sher Bahadur Deuba) is abroad for treatment. He has not updated his active membership,' Bhanu Deuba told Ratopati. 'A fake card is being made viral on social media to spread misinformation.'

Congress's active membership management committee coordinator, party general secretary Pradip Poudel, also stated that he has no information about Deuba updating his active membership. 'I have no information about him (Deuba) updating his active membership,' General Secretary Poudel told Ratopati.
