Kathmandu District Branch of Nepal Journalists Association Protests

Kathmandu. The Kathmandu District Branch of the Nepal Journalists Association has staged a sit-in protest in front of the Department of Roads to repeal discriminatory and arbitrary government decisions regarding information and advertising, and to protect the constitutional rights of the press. 

Furthermore, the branch has staged a sit-in protest demanding the formation of an all-party task force by the parliament to initiate constitutional amendment and ensure unimpeded access to information.
