Kalimati Market Sets Wholesale Prices for Agricultural Produce

Kathmandu. Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee has determined the maximum wholesale price of agricultural produce for today. According to the committee, tomato large (Nepali) Rs 60 per kg, tomato large (Indian) Rs 70 per kg, tomato large small (local) Rs 20 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) Rs 37 per kg, potato red (long) Rs 38 per kg, potato red (round) Rs 32 per kg, potato red (mud) Rs 35 per kg, and onion dry (Indian) Rs 43 per kg. Similarly, carrot (local) Rs 100 per kg, cabbage (local) Rs 60 per kg, cauliflower local Rs 70 per kg, white radish (hybrid) Rs 20 per kg, eggplant long Rs 40 per kg, and eggplant round Rs 50 per kg have been fixed. According to the committee, beans (climbing) Rs 30 per kg, corn beans Rs 50 per kg, peas Rs 200 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 50 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 50 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) Rs 100 per kg, striped beans Rs 70 per kg, soybean pods Rs 120 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 40 per kg, bottle gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwal (local) Rs 50 per kg, parwal (Terai) Rs 50 per kg, snake gourd Rs 50 per kg, ridge gourd Rs 60 per kg, jhinguni Rs 60 per kg, pumpkin ripe Rs 60 per kg, pumpkin green (long) Rs 60 per kg, green pumpkin (round) Rs 40 per kg, okra Rs 35 per kg, sweet potato Rs 70 per kg, and colocasia Rs 90 per kg, squash Rs 60 per kg have been fixed.
