BP Highway Traffic Halted Due to Potential Risk in Roshi Khola Catchment Area

Kathmandu. Traffic has been stopped on the BP Highway keeping in mind the potential risk in the catchment area of Roshi Khola in Kavrepalanchok after the start of rainfall. The District Police Office Kavrepalanchok issued a very urgent notice on Monday at 12:28 PM, halting (holding) vehicle operation for the immediate time.

Police have stated that this decision has been made by giving high priority to the safety of passengers and drivers. As a precautionary measure to avoid possible damage and accidents on the road due to rain, vehicles have been stopped at a safe location.

The District Police Office has clarified that traffic will be resumed only after ensuring that there is no obstruction of any kind on the road and another notice is issued.
