The police have seized boiler chickens worth Rs 1.83 lakh from Bishnupura of Rohini Rural Municipality-6 and Maryadpur of Kotihawa Mai Rural Municipality-3 and sent them to the Animal Quarantine Office, Belhiya for necessary action, he said.

Similarly, from Belhiya of Siddharthanagar Municipality-1 in the district, sarees, 'ladies suit tops', 'leggings', belts, bomb chocolates, tea leaves, chocolates, raw cloth pieces, and 'ladies sandals' worth Rs 2.26 lakh 460 have been seized and sent to the Customs Office, Belhiya for necessary action, it has been informed.
