Tehran Airport Flights Cancelled Amidst Iran-Israel Tensions

Tehran. All flights from Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the capital of Iran, have been cancelled. According to Iran's semi-official news agency Mehr News Agency, no flights have been operated at the airport since Monday.

This airport is one of Iran's major air transport hubs. Where domestic and some international flights have been operating. No official detailed information has been released about the reason for the flight cancellation. But this decision has come in the background of escalating military tensions between Israel and Iran in recent days.

The situation is worsening with recent incidents of attacks and counter-attacks between the two countries. Reports have come of explosions heard in Iranian cities of Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan.
