Minister Dahit for advancing bills on land reform

Kathmandu - Minister for Land Reforms and Management Gopal Dahit has said the Ministry would introduce four bills to bring reforms in the land management. 

At an interaction in the capital city Tuesday, Minister Dahit said the Ministry would table the bill on land, guthi and survey in the parliament via the Council of Ministers. "Once these bills are passed by the parliament, the irregularities facing the land management and administration will fizzle out," he honed. 

Similarly, he shared that the Ministry was planning to launch online system to inform the public about the activities carried out in the land sector. 

Moreover, the Minister said the freed kamlaris would be distributed identity card from the next week. 

On a different note, he said the government was committed to holding elections in the provincial and federal levels. However, the election in both levels was not possible in a single shot.
