Rastriya Swatantra Party Appoints Hikmat Jung Karki to Central International Relations Department

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has nominated Hikmat Jung Karki as a member of the party's central international relations department. 

The party stated that Karki, a resident of Kathmandu, has been nominated with the belief that he will efficiently fulfill his responsibilities in accordance with the party's constitution, policies, principles, and departmental regulations.

The newly appointed member Karki is a youth with long experience in international relations and diplomacy. He has experience serving as the co-chairperson of an organization affiliated with young democrats worldwide. 

He has completed his postgraduate studies in International Relations from the University of East London and his bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from Tribhuvan University.

In the past, he represented Nepal and played a significant role in policy dialogue and global networking at various international forums including the United Nations 'World Urban Forum' held in Poland, the 'Democratic Forum' in Washington D.C., USA, and New Zealand, as well as in Finland, Germany, Morocco, and the United Kingdom. 

Karki, who also holds expertise in urban planning, has previously served as a member of the board of directors at the Urban Development Fund under the Ministry of Urban Development of the Government of Nepal. 

Upon being nominated to the department, Karki expressed his commitment to continuously strive to further strengthen, make effective, and expand international relations from his side under the guidance of the leadership, while remaining fully committed to the party's constitution, policies, and principles.
